I would like to present a brief report of St. Thomas High School which was established on 23-5-1984 when the entire Ghanpur Town lost faith in English Medium Schools as many appeared and disappeared within a short span of Time leaving the students and parents in total darkness. Parents were unwilling to sent their wards to English medium schools.

The school was named as St. Thomas, the disciple of Christ. Who was the first Christian Missionary to India. Who laid down his life in spreading love of Christ to the Indians.

Hence, St. Thomas School was established in the year 1984 under the able guidance late Sri Kothapally Christdas. It began with just 25 students on roll, today we are proud to say that the strength exceeds 2000.

The school has now completed 25 years of serving the cause of providing good foundation to the students under St. Thomas Educational Association ever since than the school is striving had to develop in all fields. It has been dedicated fully for the all round development and mould its students into good citizens.

In order to progress towards our achievement we take a humble start towards out goal with the guidance and dedication of our Management, had work and inspiration of our teachers enthusiastic participation of our students and co-operation and affection of our parents.

Till now 14 batches of S.S.C had gone from out school. I am proud to say that we that attained 95 to 100% result. This is the 15th batch and we have trained our students and are hoping for a still better result. We proud to say Dhruvatej, Anil Babu, Priyanka stood as State Toppers in Intermediate and in EAMCET.

All the students are regularly participating in various competition and cultural programmes and secured good rank. Our students have participated in curricular an co-curricular activities in competitions. We have celebrated all the National Festival in our school with much enthusiasm.

I am proud to say that our students had collected TSUNAMI Relief Fund and distributed the same in the form of cloths, utensils and rice etc., personally to the victims in Krishna and Prakasham Districts. We have collected donation for Kargil Fund sent to PM's Relief Fund and also donated 20,116/- to ITROID Blind School, Hyderabad. This is just to inject the kind flavor in to the tender hearts.
